Upper Darby to host fireworks show July 3 - Life - Delco News Network

The Upper Darby Department of Leisure Services announces its popular Upper Darby Township Sousa Concert and Fireworks show featuring a concert by the acclaimed Upper Darby Sousa Band performing favorite marches with a salute to veterans, The Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars showcasing their high energy song and dance and a professional fireworks show.

The concert starts at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3 at the Upper Darby High School Memorial Stadium, Lansdowne Ave. and School Lane in Drexel Hill. The fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. The rain date in July 5.

Gates to the stadium will open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $4 and children 5 and under are free. Tickets are available at the gate only.

No lawn chairs or coolers are permitted in the stadium. Call 610-622-1189 for more information.

Summertime and Happiness go hand in hand at  Upper Darby Summer Stage! What fun things are you doing this summer? Going to the pool? Traveling to the mountains? Walking the boardwalk at the shore?  EXAMPLES!  Summer Stage staffers!  Chris Luner, Summer Stage Production Assistant in front of the UD Performing Arts Center! This summer we are asking our fans to send in photos doing fun summertime activities with Flat Stanley! Everyone who sends in a photo with Flat Stanley will be featured on the UDPAC Website and on our lobby slide show!  Costume Shop Manager, Lauren Perigard, at...where else? The costume shop at  Summer Stage! 4 Grand Prize Winners will be randomly selected! You can win... Two FREE tickets to either "Freckleface Strawberry" or "A Year with Frog & Toad!" Your picture with Flat Stanley will be featured in The News of Delaware County Your picture featured the Summer Stage Facebook page! You will have your picture taken with cast members after the show and you will receive a commemorative Summer Stage photo magnet!  To Enter the Drawing: Print out the pdf of Flat Stanley on the right and color it! (Click right on the pdf!) Bring Stanley with you on one of your summer adventures and take a picture of you and Stanley!
